This workflow allows you to create a quiz inside a course by uploading a PDF. Vocaliv AI analyzes the PDF content and generates quiz questions based on that material. This is useful when you want quiz questions derived directly from existing PDF content without manually writing each question. The result is a fully populated quiz ready for use in your course.

What Vocaliv AI does
Vocaliv AI uses the uploaded PDF as the source material to generate quiz questions. The AI analyzes the content in your PDF and creates quiz questions based on that material for your new quiz.

How to do it
Step 1: Open your course
Navigate to the course where you want to add a quiz. This workflow happens inside a specific course, and all quiz creation begins from within that course.
Step 2: Go to Quizzes & Assessments
In the course, open Quizzes & Assessments. This is where you create and manage quizzes for the course.
Step 3: Click Add Quiz
Click Add Quiz to start the process of adding a new quiz to your course.
Step 4: Select Upload PDF
Select Upload PDF. This option tells Vocaliv AI that you want to generate quiz questions from a PDF document.
Step 5: Upload your PDF file
Upload your PDF file. After the upload completes, Vocaliv AI uses the PDF as source material to generate quiz questions for your quiz.
What gets created
- A new quiz is added to your course
- AI-generated quiz questions are created for that quiz based on the uploaded PDF content
What happens next
After the upload completes, the quiz with AI-generated questions is available within Quizzes & Assessments in that course. You can review the generated questions, make edits as needed, and continue building your course.
