Select a course template to open the course editor. In each lesson, use the right-side rich-text editor and the Edit with AI panel to request content changes in natural language. Adjust formatting and update the course’s cover image. Edits apply to the selected lesson within the course structure.
Overview
In this workflow, you’ll customize a template-based course by editing lesson content and requesting AI-powered content changes. It’s useful when you want to quickly refine text while keeping the template’s chapters and lessons. The final result is an updated course with revised lesson text and an updated cover image.
What you’ll need
- Selected template: Determines the initial chapter/lesson structure shown in the editor.
- Existing lesson content: The text visible in the rich-text editor for each lesson.
- Natural-language requests: Typed into the Edit with AI panel to request content changes to lesson text.
What Vocaliv does
- Vocaliv AI interprets your natural-language request made in the Edit with AI panel to make content changes to the current lesson.
What you’ll get
- AI-generated content changes applied to the current lesson.
- Editable lesson text remains available in the rich-text editor for further manual formatting.
How to do it
Step 1: Select a course template to open the course editor.
You will see the full chapter/lesson structure on the left and the rich-text editor for the selected lesson on the right.
Step 2: In the left-side chapter/lesson structure, click the specific lesson you want to customize.
This loads that lesson’s text in the right-side editor.
Step 3: Review the lesson’s text in the rich-text editor.
Use the available formatting controls (fonts, bold/italic/underline, lists, links, quotes) to make any immediate manual changes.
Step 4: Open the Edit with AI panel.
This panel is used to request content changes in natural language for the lesson you’re viewing.
Step 5: In the Edit with AI panel, type a clear natural-language request describing the change you want (for example, clarify a paragraph or adjust tone).
Send your request from the panel.
Step 6: Wait for the AI to process your request.
The lesson will reflect AI-generated content changes based on your request, visible in the rich-text editor.
Step 7: Review the updated lesson text in the rich-text editor.
If needed, fine-tune formatting with fonts, bold/italic/underline, lists, links, and quotes.
Step 8: Repeat Steps 2–7 for any other lessons in the left-side structure that you want to customize.
Move between chapters and lessons as needed.
Step 9: Update the course’s cover image using the button provided to change the cover image.
This updates the course’s visual cover.
