Open your course in Slides view, then edit each slide’s background (solid color, stock image, or custom image), adjust the layout, and refine content using Edit with AI. When finished, select Export and choose PDF or PPTX to download your completed deck.
Overview
You will update individual slides—backgrounds, layout, and content—and then export the full slide deck. This is useful when polishing AI-generated or existing slides before sharing. The final result is a deck exported as a PDF or PPTX file.
What you’ll need
To edit slides, you need an open course in Slides view. When you select Edit with AI on a slide, the slide’s existing content is used as the input for refinement.

Edit with AI refines the selected slide’s content based on the current material on that slide.
What you’ll get
You will have edited slide backgrounds, adjusted layouts, and AI-refined slide content. You can then export the entire deck as a PDF or PPTX file.
How to do it
Step 1: Open your course in Slides view
Open your course and navigate to Slides view. You will see the slides that make up your deck.
Step 2: Select the slide you want to edit
Select the slide you want to edit. This focuses all subsequent changes—background, layout, and content—on that specific slide.
Step 3: Change the slide background
Choose a solid color, select a stock image, or use Upload Custom Image to apply your own image as the slide’s background.
Step 4: Adjust the layout
In Slides view, choose a layout that best fits the content on the selected slide so text and visuals are arranged the way you want.
Step 5: Refine the content with Edit with AI
Select Edit with AI on the slide to improve the slide’s text based on the existing content.
Step 6: Review the updated slide
Ensure the background, layout, and content look correct before moving on.
Step 7: Repeat for additional slides
Repeat Steps 2–6 for any additional slides you want to update. You can apply different background types and layouts per slide.
Step 8: Export your deck
Select the Export button and choose PDF or PPTX. Vocaliv exports the entire deck in the format you selected.
What gets created, saved, or changed
Edited slide backgrounds (solid color, stock image, or custom uploaded image) are saved to each slide. Layout adjustments are applied to each slide. AI-refined slide content is updated on the selected slides. An exported deck is created as a PDF or PPTX file.
What happens next
Your deck is exported in the selected format (PDF or PPTX). You can return to Slides view at any time to make further edits and export again.
