You’ll create a new course from your own material or a prompt, let Vocaliv build an outline, and then generate course content. Use this when you want to quickly draft a structured course and refine it. The result is an editable course in Vocaliv’s editor module.

How to do it
Step 1: Start a new course
After signing up or logging in, open Courses and click the Add Course button. This opens a new course setup so you can provide source material or a prompt before generating an outline.
Step 2: Provide your source material or prompt
Create your course by uploading existing material or entering a prompt. This information guides the structure and content that Vocaliv will generate. Confirm your inputs before moving on.
Step 3: Generate your course outline
Click Create Outline. Vocaliv uses the information you supplied to produce an initial outline. Review the AI-generated outline to check that the chapters and flow match your intent.
Step 4: Edit or expand the outline
Adjust the outline as needed. You can edit the AI-generated outline, add sections manually, or regenerate it. Make changes until the structure reflects the course you want to deliver.
Step 5: Shape chapter-level gains
Click Continue to Shape Content. For each chapter, select what learners will gain by choosing from multiple options. Review your selections so they accurately reflect the emphasis and depth you want.
Step 6: Choose your delivery format and size
Click Continue to Delivery Format. Select the course size that fits your scope. Your size choice will influence the amount of content generated in the next step.
Step 7: Generate course content
Click Generate Course Content. Vocaliv AI creates the course content based on your outline, chapter gains selections, and chosen course size. Wait for generation to complete before proceeding.
Step 8: Review and edit in the editor module
Open the editor module to review the generated content. Edit directly in the editor to refine wording, adjust structure, or expand sections, ensuring the course meets your expectations.
What gets created
- AI-generated course outline (including any sections you add manually).
- AI-generated course content.
- An editable course available in the editor module.
What happens next
Your generated course appears in the editor module, where you can review and make edits. Continue refining content within the editor until the course is ready for your next steps.
